How often we come across with the situation when gossips give more true facts than the official news. The news about new Toyota Supra detail just confirms this. This is Winding Road’s Peter Nunn that we must be thankful to for the following. We got to know that the next-gen Supra’s design is going to be encouraged by the FT-HS Concept. From this source we also know: Supra be equipped with a hybrid drive-train or possibly with an all-gas V6.

Another source, Automobile Magazine, asserts that the FT-HS Concept will be Toyota’s Supra successor only, and no mentions about the other – all-gas – version. Possibly, WR’s Nunn supposes the car to be offered with the updated version of the 3.5L V6 from the Lexus IS350.
Supra with all-gas will be definitely cheaper in comparison with the hybrid version. What we have to do is only wait for the next year, possibly the second half of it and look forward to the geat news from Toyota Supra.
