Courts very rarely make good reputation to the sides
The McLaren’s chief designer Mike Coughlan fell into an unpleasant situation, Courts are not pleasant places to relax and draw inspiration from. On the 11th this month a court hearing was cancelled. The reason is that Coughlan gave his agreement to supply a sworn declaration. In this declaration it is described in detail the way how Coughlan got highly confidential information from Ferrari.
The case is still in process and no one knows when it is going to be settled. Nigel Stepney is a person who is in the focus of everybody’s attention. This is he who is accused in the stealing documents and giving them to Coughlan. Coughlan is sentenced to a tribunal in Italy. Stepney got much kinder penalty till now. He was just fired and he disagree with all the allegations.
