You know, it is like a wave: when some fresh ideas come to one mind, it is definitely will appear in another. With our technologies of getting information, there is no need to speak about accidental coincidence. It is not our part to find an “idea generator”, but facts are facts. Two big companies — Ford Motor Company and Southern California Edison – made a step to the uniting. The reason is a creating and developing plug-in hybrid vehicles.

For an effective and successful integration of this model in the power grid of southern California the companies are making tests for range, mule durability, and influence on the grid. So, by 2009 we are expecting to observe this new series. All the responsibility for the dead-line and for the contact with the owners lies on Southern California Edison.
Off-grid vehicles will have some changes soon. Residential solar panels will be taken into account and will be paid more attention. Like a hypothesis, maybe owners will sell electricity back to the electric company
