Ford Motor Company is eager to spend $930 million on a Romanian former Daewoo car factory developing. This factory is going to be the main facility for the requirements of the production. Ford, being the second automaker in America suggested the higher price for the Craiova-Based plant. This plant is sold by the government of Romania.
Ford’s aim is to raise the production from 24,000 cars up to 300,000 ones, and engines — 116,000 engines up to 300,000. Accordingly, the amount of employees will be increased also. 3,900 people have worked till now and this number is supposed to be 7,000 and 9,000 in the future.
