Honda keeps its figure
Fashion dictates much in our life. The most remarkable stylists and fashion designers said some time ago: “The woman should be thin and slim”. And she was and is. Now it is cars’ turn to keep its figure. The question is: is all this reasonable?
Civic Si sedan for the 2008 model lost some weight because of achieving the aluminum wheels, new tires and aero-body add-ons. The most powerful advantage in loosing weight is increasing the speed. The size of the wheels now is 18 inches bigger, but it does not matter, as the damping is boosted for now. Unfortunately, there is no boosting in horsepower. The appearance of the car is recognizable. A rear spoiler and a front spoiler, air diffuser and side sills, all of them are included in the body-kit. A special exterior paint Fiji Blue Pearl color adds some charm to the whole air.
Honda says the Civic Mugen will cost less then $30,000 after coming to the market in October, 2007. Honda plans to edit 100 000 copies.
