Hybrids and the Green Zone

Hybrids and the Green ZoneThere a slight difference in hybrids, the feds emphasize.
Of course, the difference is, but…how is it connected with the Green Zone and environmental protection? The Bush administration’s Environmental Protection Agency states that there are hybrids and hybrids. The second differ from the first ones: they are mild. And what is that? – You will ask.

This means some rules suggested for the second type of vehicles. Everything is easy: just excluding the mild ones from high-occupancy-vehicle lanes (according to Hybrid Owners of America).
So, if you are the owner of the following cars: 2005-2007 Ford Escape, 2005 and 2007 Honda Accord Hybrid, 2003-2007 Honda Civic Hybrid, 2003-2006 Honda Insight, Toyota Prius (2004 — 2007), 2006-2007 Lexus RX 400h, Lexus GS 450h , 2006 Mazda Tribute Hybrid, 2006-2007 Mercury Mariner hybrids, Saturn Vue Green Line hybrids, 2006-2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, 2004 to 2007 Toyota Prius, you are on the HOV.
But, to 2020 the HOV lane will be full of Toyotas. And by 2010 we can expect the limit of hybrid-powered cars to be the same as conventionally powered cars.
