There is not a surprise for anyone that coming soon new Opel Vectra will transform into the Saturn Aura, the car of the next generation. This new vehicle has become similar to those in the USA that passed the hot weather test. The only question in the focus is: when this happens.

Getting to know about GM’s plans of launching Saturn/Opel/Vauxhalls versions all over the world, we realize at the same time that we should wait for a year or so after new Vectra launching. GM wants just launched Aura to be produced for a few years.
A new Vectra is based on Opel’s GTC concept. It came first at the Geneva Motor Show this very year. However, they add 2 doors. The design has some peculiar features, like coupe-like effect in the sedan.
The Opel is based on The General’s Epsilon2 platform. It is larger in comparison n with the Aura in some dimensions. The engines are supposed to be a twin-turbo V-6. Europe will have the cars with six-speed transmissions (manual and automatic), But Aura might have automatic only.
