Ford and Fiat: brilliant mixture
The latest news here and there is stating that Ford and Fiat decided to be a one unity. In general, a new generation Ford Ka and Fiat are going to team up. In fact, Ford takes almost everything from Fiat 500 model.
If to believe CarMagazine, and we have all reasons to, the next model Ford Ka II is getting engines, brakes and Steering from Fiat 500. The car production is even organized in the Poland plant in one line with Fiat 500. In the very beginning Ford planned to share elements with Mazda2 and Ford Fiesta. But, having realized that the Blue Oval had a cash crisis, Ford decided to help Fiat with the development. We have just to wait the time we will be able to observe some variants of Ka version, such as the CityKa, a hybrid, or the FamilyKa, or StreetKa.
