2008 Lexus IS-F – how it looks like
Lexus automaker is glad to introduce its new car Lexus IS-F. This is a sporty car. This is a vehicle which is aimed directly at Mercedes “AMG”, BMW “M”, and Audi “R” and “RS”. This model is equipped with V8, sport enthusiasts appeal this car with a powerful “substantial” boost. A six-cylinder IS models are already available.
The 5.0-liter V8 engine has a 407 horsepower and develops 350 lb-ft of torque. In addition we can notice that it also has the LS 460’s 8-speed gearbox, possessing “direct-sport-shift” paddles. The IS can develop speed from 0 to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) just in 4.9 seconds because of the multi-geared slick-shifting gearbox, with available power.
