Toyota announces the priceAt last became known today the prices for 2008 Camry and Camry Hybrid . Both of them will come to the market soon, next month. This is just the trim which costs up $100. The engine with 4 cylinders costs $18,570. The updated XLE version (including six-speed and automatic transmission a V-6) is $28,120.

A key auto industry group approved a House proposal to arouse standards of gas mileage for new passenger vehicles by 2022 to at least 32 miles per gallon. They say it is more sensible approach than a Senate plan which was approved a month ago.

Toyota sales beat all records

Toyota organized sales in June. Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. says that the sales rates have increased in comparison with the last year. It showed good results, both, cars and trucks, were sold successfully. Toyota sold 245,739 vehicles in June; this is 10.2 percent higher in comparison with June 2006 — 223,018 in. But automakers from Japan failed totally to be superior that of Ford Motor Co. to get the No. 2 U.S. sales spot.
